FA Cup Final
The first 3pm KO since 2011, almost feels like the old days!

I've lost interest a bit in recent finals, but fancy this might be a good watch.

Narrow City win, for me.

Re: FA Cup Final
We always coincide the final with our footy vets presentation do... had to bring it forward an hour or 2 this year due to the Derby at 1:30 and the final at 3pm... got a nice section of the boozer roped off.... probably more to keep us away from the normal punters than to stop them getting in !! Anyway looking forward to it... got a few Red Mancs in our squad so hoping City whack at least double figures past them...

Sounds good Sold. Isn't the Derby usually around 5pm these days, and anything you fancy?

Re: FA Cup Final
Was glad to see this was on at 3pm. Had no idea it'd been 12 years since the last one at that time. I've got a tenner on Man City to win, both teams to score and Haaland anytime scorer.

Don't get involved anymore, for varying good reasons......

Manny... yeah they brought the time forward cause of the footy they didn't want to clash with it... taken me eye a bit off the flat but will be backing Godolphins Military Order his bruv (Adayar) won this race a couple of years ago and seems a similar type so on at 5's... however I imagine with Dettoris last race in the big one the whole country will be lobbing a fiver on him.

Side, if you can't get excited by this, what does turn you on?

(Maybe it's better you don't answer that.)

Hope it’s a good game and not 90 mins of Fernandes diving and bleating in the ear of the ref, the rat faced cunt.

I couldn't physically care less about this game if I put effort in. 2 teams I just don't care about

Coffee, I'm done with the media format for it, and generally the clubs that get to the final of it, the best of the best is over with for me because it's now the richest vs the richest......and rarely is there a David vs Goliath backstory to it.....it's just meh.....they will try and sell you the 'First all Manchester derby final' blah, blah but we have Coronation Street to hear them droning on if should so choose and we don't.....wankfest's over things/clubs I detest don't do it for me.....

Used to like Man City before they were mega-rich.

Now they've just merged into the dislikeable mass of clubs who have bought their success

Never liked Man U.

Probably watch the highlights after I've had a drink this evening, but my sober time is too valuable to waste on this non-West Ham battle between rich men's toys

A repeat of "Super Cally Thistle, Celtic are atrocious" would be a highlight of the weekend, though.

Re: FA Cup Final
To me it's still a spectacle, glad it's back on at 3 even if it is June rather than May. However, as West Ham aren't playing I couldn't care less who wins. If I had to choose it'd be funny seeing Fernandes crying at the end.

Re: FA Cup Final
does anyone else feel the FA cup has lost a bit of what it used to be?. Granted been in the US a long time (where it is it gets zero coverage) but even before I left blighty I felt it had become less of a sporting spectacle. Recall the semi finals being huge affairs, let alone the final which got pretty much all day coverage and build up on the BBC. We'd go to a bar and watch it or at least watch on TV regardless of who was in, in recent years feel like I couldn't have cared less unless we're in it.

Re: FA Cup Final
City every day of the week. And twice on Sundays. Anyone who you meet and says they are a Salford Red supporter knows fuck all about football. Straight off the bat. If they get a result today. They and the media will be droning on about how they stopped the big bad wolf. And they are great. Blah, blah, blah.
